Goodbye! #openeinde

10/12/2017

Yesterday was the last, and maybe the best, show of Lost Bear so far. Chaotic and emotional, the keywords of our 9-year career. We ended our set with former members Tammo and Noel playing along with the very first song we ever rehearsed, (Hope You’re No) Diana. It was a magical, memorable night. Many thanks to Podium Café de Graauwe Hengst for putting this night up and Surface Noise for sharing goodbyes!

In this picture you also see Floyd, who played drums on our first demo and mixed and mastered Monkey Pop and Donkey Shot, Joost, who played keys for several months in 2012, Tammo, Noel, and our great sound guy slash sixth member Arthur. Only Ferdinand, one of the two drummers from 2008 to 2010, was missing this night.

We will upload some video material soon. Now the time has come to weep, lick our wounds, and see if we can make something nice of the chaotic mess of recordings, pictures and memories that is still scattered around on hard disks and cassette tapes. We will continue to work on preserving this archive, and hopefully make a book, or a boxset, or something cool like that.

x
Stefan, Gino, Casper, Gibson, Arno
